WeatherMan
by
James David Walley
A program to forecast the weather
To use this program, you need a barometer and some means of finding
the wind direction (weather vane, fancy electronic instrument, wet finger,
etc.). Simply enter the information by clicking on the appropriate gadgets.
Click the
"FORECAST"
gadget to get the forecast.
In case you are wondering, the "Rising Fast" and "Falling Fast"
categories refer to any change greater than .06 in an hour.
The principles of this program are, of course, general scientific
rules, and are hence in the public domain. Some of these were first used in
a P.D. program for the C64, "Weather Forecaster," by George W. Miller.
